How It Works ?

1.) Register - Create a free account with Meowsold.com or contact customer service for sign up help at meowsoldauctions@gmail.com to participate.

1a.) Participate - View buy it now products on "Marketplace" or auction style "as-is" products by auction date.

2.) Auctions - Auctions are 'AS-IS" method of buying and selling goods or services by allowing potential buyers to bid on them, while "local pick up only" means that the winning bidder is responsible for physically picking up the item at the designated location, unless there are alternative arrangements or exceptions specified.

How to place a bid:

Once registered, select the auction & lot you wish to place a bid on. You may click the "Bid " button for a one time bid, or enter your "Maximum Auto Bid" by selecting the lot and physically typing in the highest you are willing to bid for that item.
Technical bidding details to understand and consider:
Soft Close: All lots end with a "Soft Close." A "Soft Close" means that if any bid is placed within the last three (3) minutes of the close of the Auction, the bid will automatically extend the closing time an additional three (5) minutes. Example: If a bid is placed at two (2) minutes before close, it will extend the closing time to five (5) minutes. This feature protects Bidders from being outbid without the opportunity to be notified, and therefore allows a Bidder to place another bid before the close of the Auction.
Placing a "Maximum Auto Bid": Please be aware that when placing your "Maximum Bid", the website will bid on the Bidder's behalf at the preset bid increment until the Bidder’s "Maximum bid" is exceeded. At that point, the Bidder have been outbid. High Bidder will only pay one increment more than the competing Bidder. Please watch the Auction’s closing time stop-clock to determine exactly when the lot will close

2c.) Participate Hands On - You can participate in an auction without setting a maximum bid. In fact, many bidders choose to place bids manually during the auction to increase their chances of winning the item and to control the bidding process.

An auction time auto-extender is a feature used in online auctions to prevent last-second bids from winning an auction. It automatically extends by few minutes of the auction time when a bid is placed within the final 3 minutes or 180 seconds of the auction, allowing other bidders to have a fair chance to bid on the item.

2a.) "Pick Up" means that the item will need to be removed during our regular business days Wednesday, Friday, Saturday. "We will ship items if arranged" means that the Meowsold.com is willing to ship the item to the buyer, but the details of the shipment (such as the shipping method, cost, and timing) will need to be agreed upon and arranged between the buyer and seller.

2b.) AUCTION DESCRIPTION:

Brand New:Brand new items refer to products that have never been used or opened and are in their original packaging, and have not been subject to any wear and tear or damage that could affect their functionality or value.

Appears New:"Appears new" is a description used to indicate that a product may look or function like new, despite not being brand new, and may have been opened or used briefly but has been well-maintained and is in excellent condition with no significant signs of wear or damage.

If an "Appears New" item does not function as expected, it can be returned, but it is important to note that any damage to the item should be reported to the pick-up location before leaving, to ensure that the return can be processed correctly and any applicable refunds or exchanges can be made.

Open Box:Open box items may have missing parts, components or accessories or may be in excellent shape and fully functional as new, depending on the specific item and the reason it was returned or opened. It's important to carefully read the item description and any available information about its condition and components before bidding or purchasing an open box item.

While open box items can provide a chance to purchase products at a discounted price, they are still a gamble as the condition and functionality of the item may vary. Open box items have a no-return policy.

3.)"Marketplace" - Meowsold.com marketplace features new products with nationwide shipping means that the products can be shipped to customers across the country, and regular return policies apply, which typically allow customers to return products within a specified time frame for a refund or exchange, subject to certain conditions or restrictions.
